Marston Nursery celebrates Ofsted GOOD rating
Our Marston Day Nursery setting, in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire, is celebrating its first official Ofsted rating, following its initial year of opening.
The Nursery is celebrating achieving a ‘Good’ rating following an inspection from Ofsted on 20 September 2021.
The report highlighted the range of extended learning opportunities made available to the children based on their interests, the involvement the Nursery has within the community which sparks children’s ‘interest in the wider world’, and detailed positive praise received from parents about the Nursery.
Nursery Manager Clare Eggelton said: “We’re so proud of our Good rating which is testament to our team’s dedication and hard work and the incredible relationships we’ve nurtured with our families and the children we care for.
“Despite opening in the middle of the pandemic, we’ve created a stable environment where children ‘feel valued and welcome’ and are always ‘put first’, as acknowledged by Ofsted, and we’ve been welcomed within the local community – having recently enrolled our 100th family.
“Each day we provide new and inspiring experiences for our children, in a wonderful and inclusive setting, and look forward to continuing to build on this success in the years to come.”
The Marston Day Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, which provides inspirational Early Childhood Learning and Care for over 600 families in settings across England and Scotland and the group has recently been nominated as finalists in the Business Development Category of the Nursery Management Today (NMT) Awards 2021, to be held in November.
The Nursery has proven extremely popular with local residents, with a growing waiting list for places in 2022.
